And this was just the flowers! Over 3,000 white stocks were flown in from Holland along with 400 purple hydrangea heads for the dining marquee at the very stylish and swanky 50th Birthday party for a very gorgeous client recently. Andy and his team from Wildabout Flowers worked their usual magic and transformed the marquee from clean cut to utterly WOW in the space of a few hours.
Working with a tri-cone marquee was seriously exciting and we could not wait to get in and make it all look beautiful. The central feature of the tri-cone worked brilliantly with its clear roof, twinkly chandelier and gorgeous pale grey suede bar which drew guests to the hub of the party. Three additional rooms were created for drinks, dinner and dancing along with a smoking terrace that would not have been out of place in Ibiza.
Guests were treated to a delicious dinner by the talented team from Pesto Food and the flowers literally shook as some over enthusiastic party goers got rather carried away by the wonderful entertainment provided by Incognito Artists. An added surprise after dinner was the arrival of the Butlers in the Buff boys, where did those bites on their bottoms come from we wonder? On to the dancing with Rollacoaster delighting the audience as ever with their endless repertoire of up beat and rocking tracks. DJ Pat kept guests going until the early hours playing requests time and time again.
Everyone had a fun evening and it was an absolute pleasure to create such a fantastic party for very special clients.
